A good example of Downtown apartment building with reasonable rents, if you can't afford an apartment in Yin Ren or Moresky 360, then a residential complex like the Hen Tong building is probably where you will end up if you want to live downtown.

Offering very much the same location as Yin Ren or Moresky 360, but without the high rents the Hen Tong Building and many others like it offering affordable downtown living. Rents in the Hen Tong Building start at approximately 3500 RMB a month. Other buildings downtown, like Hen Tong however do offer even cheaper rents. You get the same location as Yin Ren and Moresky but at a cheaper rent.

Of course you also get less security, more noise and crappy dimly lighted hallways.
