History and Future of Transportation in China

During the development of China transportation and infrastructure was and is an important issue. The Chinese government is aware about this and is still working on building highways and streets, not only on the east coast, no also in central and west China.

When I remember how transportation was done at the time (in the 90’s) where I visited China the first time, I see small vehicles which looked totally overloaded.

Later it improved a lot and we saw and still see these trucks on the streets. We all know them as the Blue trucks.

How will the future look like?

First Road Trains, like the Australian ones are seen on the streets in China.

Will the future look like the picture below from an Australian Road Train?
