Wuxi’s International Airport airport is located in the Wuxi New District. This is a 40 minute cab ride from the center of town and costs approximately 50 RMB. During rush hour traffic this trip could take as long as one and half hours.

The terminal itself is small. Domestic flights depart from the building on the right and international flights from the building on the left. The staff are friendly and helpful, but their level of English is not what you find at the Pudong International Airport. If your job requires you catch connecting flights in Beijing or Hong Kong the Wuxi airport will cut hours off your business trip.
