Show season starts Aug.-Nov.

Wuxi’s “Performance Season” will be opening with Wuxi Opera excerpts by reputable actors on August 21st. Overall 200 performances will be staged in 90 days, the lowest ticket price being 5 yuan. This is the first “performance season” in Wuxi after the Performing Group was founded.

From August 21st to Nov. 20th, Musical Drama Theatre of Wuxi, Wuxi Opera House, Wuxi Chinese Folk Art Forms Group will go to theatres, auditoriums, communities and schools to perform for residents.

Residents are able to see the performances at a low price. Some community square programs are even free for citizens. The Performing Group benefits and entertains our citizens in such a way. This is also a good opportunity for them to present art achievements of the city. (Jessie)
