If anything this little exchange, I am going to have to lash out more. These battles are worth fighting.
So you're trying to change us, one post at a time? If I were truly Eurocentric, I would point out that you are fighting a losing battle. Our culture was deeply ingrained centuries before others crawled out of the primordial soup!
Naturism is a commonly accepted fact of life on European beaches, in Scandinavian Saunas and on the streets of Berlin during the Love Parade. Pointing that out, apparently makes me a snob, a hypocrite, anti- American, a Communist and an Anti-Semite.
Isn't that just a tad paranoid or should I perhaps now follow suit and start drawing fatuous conclusions about all North Americans?[/quote]
You can make all the fatuous conclusions you want about North Americans. There many things that North Americans have done that I am rightly ashamed of: Wayne and Shuster, Pierre Trudeau, the election of Barack Obama, and Richard Simmons, to name a few. But you won't find me lording over the rest of the world that they
can't be North American because they don't appreciate NASCAR.
Thankfully, you do agree with me that is a time and place for Naturism.
I see I can peg you on four out of five.
I have to take Tony for a walk. Can we continue this discussion later?
